Mill Point Park is the gem of downtown for outdoor enjoyment! Splendid views of the waterway, passing boats and wildlife make this park a beautiful spot to come on an evening walk or to stop and have a quiet lunch. Park patrons can enjoy open areas, tree shaded benches and a wonderful water front view right in the heart of Downtown Hampton. Parking is easy and free either on-street or in the adjacent Eaton St. Parking Garage.
Mill Point Park is the home of many festivals and is appointed to be a wonderful site for a special event. The stage and amphitheater seating are perfect for an intimate concert or wedding. The interior of the park is enclosed with controlled access points and stationed with electrical service for multiple users in a festival setting.
Mill Point Park is open to the public from 7:00 am until sunset every day and can be reserved for private events by contacting the Parks and Recreation Department at City Hall. The Special Events team is available for guidance through the reservation process and to help make every event safe and successful.
