All Day Reggae

The All Day Reggae provides live reggae music on the corner of East Queens Way and King Way in Downtown Hampton on Saturday, September 9 from 2-10pm. This is a great opportunity to enjoy a delicious meal from one of the nearby restaurants while listening to some of the best regional reggae bands in our area! Reggae legend Johnny Osbourne will also be performing!

Teetotalers and Moonshiners, and Hampton’s Prohibition Story

The exhibit combines content from the Virginia Library’s 2017 exhibit “Teetotalers and Moonshiners: Virginia’s Prohibition Experiment” with research and artifacts from the Hampton History Museum on the local experience. "Hampton's Prohibition Story" features myriad items to tell the story, including dozens of photographs; numerous bottles, jugs and other containers; games, smoking accoutrements, beverage dispenser, signs and materials of saloon culture; service ware, promotional items and memorabilia from Point Comfort resorts, Phoebus police and fire department items, doctor bag and instruments; and moonshine still components on loan from the Museum of the Albemarle. The exhibit continues through February 4, 2024.

Mayor's Book Club Book Fest

Come out and enjoy free touch-a-truck, food, carnival style games, Hampton City resources from our local community partners, and fun giveaways. There will be thousands of books for readers of all ages to take and add to their home library.

Board Gamers @ Phoebus Branch Library

Come by the Phoebus Branch Library and play an assortment of board games.

Special Olympics Pickleball

Athletes will have the opportunity to participate in individual and team play. This also opens up the door for possible competition at the local, regional, and state games.
